    Teamspeak won't close.

When I press the X at the top to close teamspeak, it says disconnected, but then teamspeak doesn't close. I have to Ctrl-Alt-Delete, and end process ts3client_win32.exe to get it closed, any idea what it could be?

I got the same Problem with Beta16 64 Bit Version. Running XP x64, latest patches.

Sometimes it closes successfully, sometimes it closes after killing the process and sometimes the process itself is not even killable and i'm not even able to open other Programms.

While shutting down Windows will freeze with nothing visual left open (just background image). Keyboard not even working anymore at that point.

And since TS does not crash, it just stays as a unkillable zombie like process, there is no crashlog.

    Any ideas? :-)

    I have the same problem.
It only happens after about 15-20 minutes into a session. Before then I have complete functionality. After I have been in for a while, I no longer recieve channel join announcements at all, mike clicks stop working and text chat audio is not being played.

Task manager is the only way to stop it. I am on current version release.

After this time when odd things start to happen, I'd like to know:
    - can you still talk and hear others talking?
    - do you stay on the server or do you get disconnected?

That info would help us nail down the problem. With the current information it's difficult to reproduce.

can you please, if this problem occurs, use the task manager to create a dump file and post it here?

Having never done a dump file before. I looked into it, got the software fom Microsoft and set it up. I ran it, and it "seemed" to make a dump file that is pointed to C: windows. I cannot find anything to post. That was the default path, so I tried pointing to a new folder, and it too remains empty after I run the dump. Sorry for the delay. Will try again tonight after work.

I have a very similar problem. I have Windows 7 64 bit and an ASUS DX soundcard.

I'll will be on TS and playing a game with my clan. If I switch back to the desktop during the game, the TS window will be gone yet I can still talk to others in channel and hear them. When I close the game and go back to the desktop, the TS window is still gone, TS is still running and I can still hear others talking and I can talk to them. The TS icon in the taskbar is gone also.

If I click on the TS icon on the desktop to open the window again, it will not do so. I go into the Task Manager and TS does not show as an open application so I can't kill it there either. I have to reboot my computer to straighten things out.

I've also had a problem where I can hear everyone just fine in TS and they hear each other just fine but my voice sounds buzzy and tinny according to them. If I quit TS and start it up again that problem goes away.

    Hi,

    I have the same problem.

sometimes when I disconnect from a server and close teamspeak it just freezes the system. I was never able to kill the process with the task manager. Only option was to shut the pc down with power button.. it wont shut down at all from task manager

today it was the same, only while i was surfing the net after it crashed, it closed alone after a while (15-20 min)

    Running XP x64
    TS 3 Beta 31 Build: 12451
    Creative Sound Blaster Card

i will look into how to make a dumpfile on next crash .. and will post back.

    thx for help

    xD
