    Serveradmin Login Error

    Hi everyone,

Slightly new to this ServerQuery buissness but I understand the basic's.

I'm trying to login to Telnet with my Serveradmin. I connect to the server ok and it shows "TS3" at the top. Then I goto login by entering :

    "login client_login_name=serveradmin client_login_password=po3q1NZJ"

but then I keep getting an error saying :

    "error id=1538 msg=invalid\sparameter"

If some could help it would be much appreciated

    Cheers

    Ollie

    Hi

It weird, it should work. Does your password have any special character, or its like the one that you've put there? If it does, you will have to escape those chars (read the ServerQuery manual for the table), but i guess that the error would be different anyways.

Have you tried using just "login serveradmin password"?

    Regards

    Hey Pal,

Just tried using "login serveradmin 2FsNMt2Q"

However now I get this error:

    "login serveradmin 2FsNMt2Q
    error id=520 msg=invalid\sloginname\sor\spassword"

Then after trying again I get this one :

    "login serveradmin 2FsNMt2Q
    error id=256 msg=command\snot\sfound"

    Cheers

    Ollie

Just too add I've tried to run a server on my Windows 7 machine and the server query works fine.

The computer I wish to run my Server on is Window's XP Home Service Pack 3.

Could it be operating system related ?

    Cheers

    Ollie
