AUDIGY 2 & TS weird very (!) annoying problem!!!
HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP??
OK I got you attention?
I'm having a very problem with my TS config @ home. The reason why i post this is because i know for 100% that there is a sollution for my problem. We once solved the problem ourselves but I forgot how we fixed it now after a clean format i'm having the same problem again....
ALL sound which my computer produces is directed to my microphone channel. Which means the green led next to my name lights up when I for example play a mp3 with my winamp. Which is VERY annoying for my friends who are in the same channel of TS.
When I turn voice activation off and turn key activation on, the problem is solved... But activation with a key is way too complicated for me. Last week before my format I was using TS with voice activation and without that weird problem i'm having now. Which means THERE IS a solution for my problem. Only i forgot which one
Please help me out...
DrPepper (who is getting desperate)

I think your problem exist because your recording device is switched to "What u hear". So open your Creative Surroundmixer and switch the red-device to mic and to nothing else.
Also you can mute your "yellow" mic slider afterwards, so you don't have to listen to yourself all the time.
if this doesn't help, play around with the other options of your creative surround-mixer or any other mixer, like the standard windows-mixer.
