When using old client on beta 18 server the icons worked, then updated the client (check update) and the beta 18 server icons stop working.
Just wanted everyone to know that the new client is disabling the icons from working.
Hopefully its just the case that the new client is forcing an update to server beta 20 for icons to work again. Will update and find out shortly,

so, if you cant do Icons and you could before look at your server version and get it updated, beta 18 no good anymore

p.s - would be nice to know when client updates force a server update, no backwards compatibility this time from new client to beta 18 server.
