    [Suggestion] Whisper to own channel

    Hi,

I recently started to use the whisper command and found it a wonderful tool. The only problem I had with it was there was no way, to my knowledge, to whisper to my current channel as well as certain other channels. Sure I can add my channel to the whisper list via drag and drop but I looking for something where as I can whisper to the current channel I am in, and not a preset one. The reason for this is because I switch channels quite frequently and don't want to add the channel I am currently in to the whisper list. I think a whisper to current channel feature would be great for me and possibly others as well. Thanks!

Ehm, why would you want to whisper to your current channel? Just use the regular push to talk button?

EDIT: Oh wait, you want to whisper to a preset list of channels PLUS whatever channel you currently are in?

This function makes no sense, just start a normal talk. It's the same like your request..

If I am wanting to whisper to another channel to talk to another squadron for an example, I also want to be able to allow the members in my channel to listen to whatever I am saying to them. This can already be done by adding the channel you are in to the whisper list, HOWEVER, if you are switching channels frequently for different operations, ect. and/or you have 100 other members who can't be bothered to add the channel they are currently in to the whisper list it doesn't exactly work out. Hopefully that clears it up!

His request has been send for a discussion in team.

Whisper deactivates the normal capture settings. The new Whisperlist acts like PTT with continous transmission.

How to Whisper to one channel and to current channel at the same time with one key?

Hi, first of all sorry for my english. In the TS2, we could talk to another particular channel, and our own channel at the same time without having to change the configuration of whisper whenever we changed the channel. But in the TS3 not do it.

In the TS2 to do this, we assign a key to the whisper channel, and then on to a new assignment to the same key to talk to the current channel. For example:

F1 = Whisper to channel "Bravo"
F1 = Whisper to Current Channel.

When I press F1, spoke at the same time with Bravo and my own channel.
And even if you change channel, I will not be reconfigured.

But with the TS3 not do it. If I use the same system with TS2, both assigned to the same key, I just grab one of the assignments. And I find no alternative method.

I know that you can communicate with a family of channels, we can assign more than one channel to the same key, but this is not the function that I use, please do not indicate other communication systems, and I know, I I want to do is what I explain as I could in the TS2.

    Thanks

    Viper

You can set the whisper hotkey to Current_Channel, in:
Tools > Whisper List > Whisper to: Groups > Group Whisper Target: Current Channel

It seems you have to create two lists with two keys.
What you can do is press two keys simultaneously.

I understand what he wants, in case he whispers to configure several different channels and at the same time to the present, but the current channel would not be fixed, since he keeps changing from one channel to another while using the whispers, and he also can not use a PTT as the whisper prevails.
So the solution would be an extra option called "Current Channel" would be the channel itself, regardless of which channel the user is.

As said, this feature makes no sense! Just start talking without whisper.

    We won't add this function.

try this setting. This is how our squadron has set it up to speak and broadcast (Whisper) so that also flightmembers in current channel can hear the coms.Name: ScreenShot001.jpg
