    make it start everytime

    Code:
    apt-get install rcconf
edit the startscript (not the minimal, the other one) like this:

    Code:
    COMMANDLINE_PARAMETERS="inifile=ts3server.ini"
    BINARYPATH="/path/toyour/ts3/folder"

    configure ts3server.ini to your needs

    copy the startscript to /etc/init.d
    rename it to teamspeak3
chmod it to be able to run it

    start rcconf and tick teamspeak3

it will start everytime you start the server

ok i have tested teamspeak 3 with my beta V-Server which runs on the same hardware like my normal v-server, but the beta Server has only 512 MB Ram.

Its running normal with the Beta Server. The only difference between the two Servers is that the Beta Server is Running the new Linux Kernel:

    Linux st-rollenspiel 2.6.32.15-1-openvz #1 SMP Mon Aug 9 16:38:53 CEST 2010 i686 GNU/Linux

    and my normal:

    Linux direct-host.de 2.6.27.42-2-openvz #1 SMP Sun Jan 17 23:44:39 CET 2010 i686 GNU/Linux

I Think there must be my problem. I Hope that the new Kernel comes quickly to the productive vserver.

Ok its running correctly with Debian Lenny

    Linux direct-host 2.6.32.15-1-openvz #1 SMP Mon Aug 9 16:38:53 CEST 2010 i686 GNU/Linux

But one problem left. When is restart the V-Server the teamspeak process doesnt start automatically again. I think thinks works fine with older Beta Version auf Teamspeak Server.

How could i fix this ?

SIGTERM is a signal to sent from the server when you shutdown or reboot him..
the signal goes to all running processes.

Crash your ts3 server or your entire server(os)?

    Received signal SIGTERM

    Hey same here...

Well first to give u a quick overview of what i did.
    1 installed the linux_amd64 server
2 started it first time with - createinifile=1 .. then stoped it
    3 changed ip's in ts3server.ini ... started it again with inifile=ts3server.ini
4 checked which ports are used
    5 edited iptables

It is possible to connect with the admintool on port 10011 but not with the ts3 client. (Yes iptables is proof :-) )
    I'am totaly clueless please help.

    Thanks!
    dG

There are no prblems with the connection to the ts3 accounting, but the virtual server stops ...

    Hi,

I think the server got the SIGTERM because you logged out. You started the server process and it was still a child of your shell process, so after the logout your shell and all of its children receive a SIGTERM.

You need to run the server process not as a child of you shell but as a child of the init process which is most easily done by using the right start script... for example the "ts3server_startscript.sh"

Can you see that error "too many virtualservers running, shutting down!" could this cause Received signal SIGTERM, shutting down?
Btw I don't know why is this there anyway I have only one virtual server running.
