[Outdated!!] Winamp4Ts3
Somebody asked me to open my own thread concerning my plugin Winamp4Ts3.
So here we go.
What is Winamp4Ts3?
Winamp4Ts3 is a small plugin for the Teamspeak3-Client. It controls the volume of winamp when somebody is speaking in Teamspeak.
- reduces the volume when you or somebody else is speaking in winamp or whispers with you.
- resets the volume of winamp back to 100% of it´s previous value when no one is speaking.
How to use?
Simply download the archive linked below and copy the winamp4ts3.dll in your plugin folder in the Teamspeak3-Client directory. Afterwards, start the teamspeak client and activate the plugin.
For configuration, hit the config button. Choose your max. and min. volume. If you want to save the settings, start Ts3 as admin on Win7 and Vista.
-> Enjoy.
Download:
Please visit the official addons-page for download locations.
Update
- plugin detects now at the start the current volume of winamp and uses this value for the reset when nobody is speaking.
- plugin is now available for x64 systems (thanks @ apfelqoo for testing it on a x64 system!)
- configuration window is now available for x86 and x64 version
- settings will be saved now
To-Do
- adjustable time for fade in/out
greetz,

working perfectly on win7 x64

2 things you really should add:
- "settings"-window to set volumes a) when sb. speaks b) normal
- option to add a button into ts3-toolbar (where "mute mic" etc is), this button toggles your plugin on/off

Great to hear somebody takes care about that functionality, but unfortunately this one ins't working for me as well as the bundled plugin.
I'm on Vista 64, copied the file into the plugin folder, but the plugin just isn't shown to me at 'settings->plugins'
The folder should be the right one, just moved the bundled plugins to somewhere else - can't see them now, too.
I was on beta 17, did't work there, so I switched to beta 20, same issue

Well, rename to what? Tried some names, even though I can't imagine how this could help.
Still same issue^^

Did you use the 64bit download?
The described issue occurs when you are using the 32bit version on a 64bit system.
If you are still having problems, i´ll take a closer look on it.
edit: new release for 32bit (look @ updates in the first post)Last edited by kasp3r; 18-04-2010 at 16:10.
