I suggest using the TS3 client itself to add to the growing list of applications.
The way it would work when a user clicks the 'add' button:
  • Allow user to Select Category (from the current list)
  • Allow user to browse for the executable to get the executable name
  • Grab the description from the window title of the application whenever it is running
  • Update/upload the new item to a collection site whenever it completes information on a new item not in the current list


This way, you are letting the TS3 client do all the work as a collection tool.
