Images not updating when changed.

Ok, maybe this is not a bug, and maybe it is. Here is the situation.

I have multiple channels that have pictures in them all linked to another site. Now all the pictures come up fine in the channels, but when I change a picture on the remote site, and use the same name, the picture does not update in the channel.

In fact, I have to clear the cache under security before the picture will show up correctly. This is a pain when you are trying to change a daily screen shot of a game, or you don't like the picture you uploaded and upload another one with the same name.

Is it possible to fix this, or do I and all my clients have to clear the cache every time they come onto the TS3 server?

I understand that you keep a running cache of all files in this location, on windows vista, and the file names are not changed to CRC32, the names are the same as the remote site.

\AppData\Roaming\TS3Client\cache\remote

Maybe when the client downloads the pictures to place into the cache folder, you could use the CRC32 name and then when a new picture/image/file is uploaded to the remote site, it would know that the file is different and display the correct file.

I am not the only one that has this problem, alot of my friends that run servers have had the same problem.

I have this problem, and its very annoying. I tried to use XFire mini profile as both avatar, and the server "banner". Avatar has to be updated manually, and ontop of that, I get the same error and have to clear cache to get it done. The banner seems like it updated a couple of times, but I'm not 100% sure. At least it won't anymore.

I was looking into the posibility to make a plugin or script to do it, but no go so far since my coding skills are limited.
