[Fixed] Disconnect Problem "invalid clientID: 0"
Edit by mod
Please read this post before you report another issue
http://forum.teamspeak.com/showpost....4&postcount=57
It's not correct, that all "players" at my TS-Server become "connection lost" since beta22.
This problem I've 8 to 10 times per day wich isn't to accept! My vServer is hosted by Netcup, with an IRC-Network and a Homepage (inkl. Forum). I don't think, that the vServers config or hardware is the Problem. I think, it's the TS3-Server self because he needs to many ressources.
I think, that the programmer Team should be fixed this Bug at the beta23 or higger because it's at this time not to accept.
Best Regards
Chaos234

This is probably not a bug. Looks like your MySQL-Database is defective.

My DB isn't defective. That was the first, what I've looked. But it can be the "Suhosin Patch" wich is running at my Server, becaus my System is a Linux (Debian (lenny)) with Apache2, PHP5 and the latest MySQL-Version.
But, if the DB is defective, waht should I do now?

Isnt Suhosin for PHP?
For Teamspeak and MySQL you dont need PHP?
I have the same situation as Chaos234.
I got also this connection error - and i log into a MySQL table, so i estimate that the TS3 server dont loose the MySQL connection.
Any ideas?

I have exactly the same problems with this as you are. I do not know what is the reason but it annoys me.
My server uses the same as yours and the MySQL server, a separate, not on localhost
only on the external machine, which certainly works well

Disconnect Problem
One of my friends has a Problem with TS3:
He can join the server, but then he gets a disconnect and then he can't join the server again. And after his disconnect he also can't join a server on TS2.
He already tried to disactivate his Firewall, but the problem is still there.
After he restarts his PC he can join a TS Server again, but the it is the same Problem. When he doesn't try to join TS3, then his TS2 works fine.

I have the same issue, I seem to be the only one on the teamspeak server I go to that this happens to. I have tried reinstalling several times as well as remove the firewall on my router and it continues to happen.
This is what the client log shows.

Today this problem is against there and it's not ok.
Now the programmer for TS3 MUST solve this problem very fast or I mail every day at the programmer team to solve this problem, if they have solved it!!!

Its true, Ive seen this problem on all servers I visit, which are hosted at completely different companies on different OS.
Having the same problem with my own TS, everyone just dc's sometimes not being able to reconnect from 10seconds up to 3hours from what Ive seen so far.
No idea whats causing it, the player that gets disconnected only gets the message connection lost and not able to connect on reconnect.

I've got the same issue. I'm not sure what the problem is, but nothing changed except the upgrade to beta 23.
I don't know what happened, but I was "autoreconnecting" for about 4 or 5 hours the other night (noticed my TS3 client log when I logged into my computer that morning)... Sounds like and issue with the server to me, but I installed it and set it up the same as before, except I copied my DB over to the new install folder, per instructions.
Server:
Client:Code:6/8/2010 10:59:38 PM VirtualServer Error connectionLost() invalid clientID: 0 6/8/2010 11:27:56 PM VirtualServer Error connectionLost() invalid clientID: 0 6/8/2010 11:44:54 PM VirtualServer Error connectionLost() invalid clientID: 0
Is this something with my server/setup or something global?Code:2010-06-08 22:48:38.204882 ClientUI Info Autoreconnecting... 2010-06-09 00:53:51.344128 ClientUI Info Autoreconnecting...
Thanks!

[BUG] invalid clientID: 0
Hello!
While the server is operating normally, suddenly begins to fire people from the server.
Sometimes it happens (every day) that the server falls completely and after 5-7 seconds, all thrown people can connect to it over again.VirtualServer Error connectionLost() invalid clientID: 0
This is a very troublesome problem.
My server runs on a MySQL database that is not on localhost
Please Help

dito
I second that. We started to have the same problems a couple days ago. You get kicked suddenly from the server and can reconnect after a few seconds. The log states "invalid client id: 0". Running on Suse Linux 10.3

We are able to reproduce this Bug!
Thank you English Talk from our public server!!
To fix it temporarily, set i_client_max_clones to 0 for all groups!!!!!
This will be fixed in Server Version: 3.0.0-beta28-pre [Build: 12203] or newer.Last edited by dante696; 02-09-2010 at 11:47.
