Solved [Solved] compiz crashes when TS3Client goes to tray

well this problem is no major problem but it's still annoying.

i'm using ubuntu 10.04 and everything works find.. i installed compiz and emerald via synaptic (incl. fusion-icon) and everything works fine so far.

But when i use Teamspeak and i hide it to the sys-tray compiz/emerlad (both) crashes, and metacity gets started.

This is very annoying because i want to have ts3client in the background while doing my work...

minimize to the taskbar, closing and restoring works fine, only the hide to tray feature does not.

    update:
bug is still present in the current version (updated yesterday)
found out: when minimizing the window and then "hide" it via the tray icon, everything works find, even restoring from the tray icon.

    update 2:
    FIXED
i found out what was the problem, in the compiz animation settings: using the Glide 3 effect for closing windows like teamspeak will cause a crash when teamspeak goes to tray. i don't know why this causes this problem but it's solved easily, just exclude the teamspeak window by class or by title from the Glide 3 animation.
