RC2 Server Linux Errors (Runtime errors 0, 212, 231 and UDP error)
Hi,
i try to run TS RC2 ver. 2.0.19.17 on Suse Linux 8.2.
When I execute tss.SuSelinux_startscript i get either runtime error 0 or 221 or 231 or all together.
gcc_locale is installed, and i tried all other hints i read here (ps ax -> kill... or chmod 0777)
The Server.log says: can not initialise udp communication with port 8767
i opened 8767 in the firewall settings (at least i hope so, i am not really sure how to do this)
I would appreciate any help very much!
edit: argh, sorry i wanted to post this in [Linux / Server]

I had exactly the same problem under SuSE 8.1, on a Dual processor / SCSI server.
Then I installed in a another SuSE 8.1 on a single processor IDE machine and it ran fine.
Hope it helps
