[Solved] Teamspeak 3 Client makes strange keyboard behavior
Hello,
first I want to thank you for this great Programm.
Since years I was using TS2 for playing WoW and it did a very good job, but now I was forced to install TS3 for a raid. And soI did, but then the Problems began :-(.
I´m running Win7 Pro 64bit
Logitech G15 V1
Logitech G13 (both 64bit drivers freshly installed on a 1 week old Systemsetup)
TS3 Client 3.0.0.beta20 date installed: 31.05.2010
What´s the exakt problem?
I really don´t know.
But after connecting to a Server (not already after only starting TS3 Client, to clarify after i start the client every thing seems ok until i connect to a server) some of my keys doing very stange things like running some macros or minimizeing the game-window or i´m not even able to write text in my chat line which I still can open by pressing the Enter button.
Id´s like it changes my keyboardlayout for my G13 and G15. but I dont see how or to what.
I did no special settings other than the config wizard and am able to hear and speak with my plantronics USB headset.
Thanks for your help.
Greeting

Do you have the most current drivers for the keyboard?

As a matter of ruling out issues:
Find a regular usb or ps2 keyboard and plug it in the computer (unplug your G13, and G15), does the game or teamspeak still exhibit this wierd behavior?
Does it still exhibit this behavior with just the G13 plugged in?
Does it still exhibit this behavior with just the G15 plugged in?
Those keyboards can be programmed to run particular macros based on what program those keyboards think are on top. This might be a problem that the keyboard manufacturer has to resolve and not the teamspeak developers.

Ok, i understand what you mean and ithink you are right that everything runs well withaut G13 and G15 (not testet yet), but i want them to run and i never had problems with them until TS3. I am running now a Win7 64bit for quite some time with the G13 and G15 without a Problem even with TS2.
But if it helps i could try it if i find some time.
Ok it was misunderstoodable. I did hopefully clarify it in my original post. TS§ Client is runnig, but not yet connectet to any server.

so, did some small tests.
Startet Wow, TS3 with G13 and G15 pluged in.
strange things like mentioned above.
pluged in another noname USB-Keyboard--> same problem
Unpluged G13 an G15 and then reboot.
startet TS3 and WoW --> everything was fine.
pluged in G13 --> still fine.
pluged in G15 --> still fine.
reboot with all 3 pluged in --> same problem
it seems it loads same very strange keyboard layout when TS3 connects to a server (not while starting the client).
Mostly the problem seems to be connectet to the small joystick on the G13.
It seems to be all fine until i want to walk with it, but not testet very much.
some examples i figured out.
1) in notepad pressing the "g" button responds in the "going to line" dialog which is normaly connected to CTRL + g
2) in game sometimes Space key shows desktop which normally is assigned to Win+ Space as far as i found out.
does noone else have such problems?
is anyone using the G13 and G15 V1 with Win 7 64bit and TS3?

Ok. now everything seems to work.
I don´t now why, but somehow i thought to change the USB Port where i plugged in my G13 from an selfpowered USB Hub to an Port directly on the Mainboard and since then everything is fine.
Thanks
