Licensing error
Hello,
I am trying to install a Linux x64 teamspeak server with a non profit license. I'm getting an error on the license file. The file is located in a subfolder, but when I place it in the root and change the ini file it still gives the same error that no valid license file has been found.
Linux is centos
This is my output:
TeamSpeak Server 3.0.0-beta22 [Build: 10723]

hello,
Try with put your licence file into the folder of server directly.
And if you put the file in the folder tried by writing the following command in the server.ini
"licensepath=./fatlan/"

[Edit]
Try using fatlan without a slash to get it to work in that subdirectory or leave it blank if you put the
file in your TS root folder.Last edited by TheMinz; 01-06-2010 at 12:37. Reason: removed confusing statement

under linux, ./ means a relative path, relative to your position. So in my opinion, ./fatlan/ is right.
otherwise there is a bug in the teamspeak-server.

OK
So at this point I think that's better to restart all procedure.
- Reset all file on folder.
- Re-download the server.
- Put your Lincence file.
- And for this time try with your licence file in the server folder

I tried the licence file today on my laptop, which is Mac OS X and that didn't work either. I just downloaded the server, put the licensekey.dat in the root folder and started it. No licensekey fount it says. Maybe there is something wrong with the key or something?
