Popping noise instead of mic input
I've just installed the latest update and I'm so happy it finally has native pulseaudio support, the only problem is my mic isn't working properly. Instead of hearing my voice, I just hear a bunch of light popping. It may be the default PA config, but I'm not sure.
Debian Testing
Kernel 2.6.32-3 amd64
Pulseaudio 0.9.21

Thanks for the link, but it didn't seem to help. The mic doesn't work at all now. I'm getting pretty frustrated with PA and seem to have a better chance with ALSA anyway. I'll still try PA if possible, but I'm more focused on ALSA now. Here's the link to my problem with ALSA.

Hi!!!
Try open a console and do alsamixer, in my case i realized that digital sould be enable and, in my system, needs at least to be in 50% or more!!!
In TS3 i choose the Default:CARD=... !!!
After doing that the mic worked great!!!
Hope i helped!!!
(sorry for my english)

I know it's been a little while, but I've ditched ALSA and Pulseaudio altogether because I had so much problems and am now happily using OSS4. Now I just need to fix the sound with WINE, but that's a whole different story.
