    Problem for updating TS3

    Hello,

    I'm using TS3 and I've got a probleme to update TS3 since 1 week...
    I can't logging because my TS version is too old, but when i wheck for update it says : "Failed to query latest client version from update server"
    I'm on Windows Vista, may be it's a problem with my firewall ?

    Well, if you have question you can ask here, i juste want to know how to update my TS3.

    Version : 3.0.0-beta9
    Qt version : 4-5-3

    Have you tried to download it from here and update it that way? I know that's not as nice as using the updater.

    Go to http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads and download the client you need and install.

    Yes, it could be possible your firewall/anti-virus are blocking the updater.

    Hi,
    Yes I tried to download the file for Windows (teamspeak3-server_win32-3.0.0beta23.zip) from the site, I got it but I dunno what to do with it ! May I haven't get the good file...

    First because it's in english (i'm not very very good in this language ...),
    besides I'm a big neewbie... I don't understand what I have to do with this file.

    I unziped it, i have 3 files :
    -sql
    -serverquerydocs
    -doc

    and 5 applications and text documents.
    -ts3server_win32.exe
    -ts3db_sqlite.dll
    -ts3db_mysql.dll
    -license.txt
    -changelog.txt

    Well, I need help if i have the wrong ZIP or to use it...

    Ah, you got the server files. You want the client file. Should be beta 22 which is the most current version.

    Well, I got the good one this time, I used it for installation, restarted TS3, tryed to connect to my server, FAIL again...

    Version now is : 3.0.0-beta22
    Qt version : : 4-6-2

    What error do you get? Can you connect to the TS public server?

    To connect to my server :
    <13:07:54> Trying to resolve hostname svr04-tsg3.fr.nf
    <13:07:54> Trying to connect to server on svr04-tsg3.fr.nf:9990
    <13:08:00> Failed to connect to server

    I can connect to the Public Server...
    Well, I don't understand, the adress and port to logg on my server are good so...

    I get the same thing when I try to connect. Are you sure the server is running?

    Is there a password? I put svr04-tsg3.fr.nf with port 9990 and got the same result you did. (don't post the password here )
