    contacts search bar

    I still do see this little issue from like beta18 or so.
    kidna starting to iritate me.

    okey situation, I have contact list with enought people in there. Now when I wanna search for someone I delete contents of search box and start typing. assuming you
    - type fast as I do
    - have as many contacts as I do
    - furthermore you have decent CPU
    you would see that it types each of first 3characters in speed 2-3second per char, while refreshing contact list position of found record.

    Devs> Now why are we searching thru that list so ofthen?

    I got it OnChange, but put there either limit like minimum chars 3 to search thro list, or better yet make a function that each time OnChande will call and then that func verifies if last 2seconds was two(no action) or one changes inside the text(do the search).

    You do know that LIKE is the biggest performance killer in SQL?

    Changed as suggested with a small variation:

    Nickname change is applied when:
    * You hit a new small "apply" button to the right of the nickname field (no text, just a small icon) or
    * Press enter or
    * Focus leaves the nickname edit field

    Once applied, it's resorted as before.
