[solved] insufficient client permissions when editing group rights
insufficient client permissions (gescheitert an i_group_modify_power (17293/0x438D))
That's the error I get when I try to edit the rights of some groups. But i already have the "highest" group "Servermoderator". My problem is now that the supporters of my hoster (I do NOT have root access) seem to be that silly that they can't give me the really full rights. What do I have to tell them what they should do now to give me them? I'm not that experienced in setting up Teamspeak³-Server...
EDIT: Best thing would be to make 2 moderating groups: "Administrator" and "Servermoderator". Administrator with absolutely full rights. But when I try to create a new ServerQuery-Group this error appears: insufficient client permissions (gescheitert an b_virtualserver_servergroup_create (17035/0x428B)) - same problem...

What is the needed_group_modify_power of the group you are trying to change? How does that compare to your group_modify_power?
A 3rd party hoster will most likely never give you serverquery access because there would be no point in them charging you for 30 slots if you could turn around and make it 100 slots. The default Server Admin server group should have enough power to do 80%-90% of all things that need done on a server.

as you can see the group_modify_power is 0. thats the problem: i can't change it..

and the hoster will give me 100% of the rights if he could... believe me, thats my problem

Are you in the server admin server group? As SA you should have no problem altering that permission. How did it get set to 0 in the first place? Try remove/add the permission again??

Yeah, you'll have to get your host to fix that one...

You can tell him to give you a group modify power of 75. He can either do that via query or log into the client and use ASQ to change it.

The easiest way I did it was to add my client id to server query admin thru the webinterface.

@Heliguy
Have you logged into this TS server? If not you will not have a client database ID. If you have double check that it is really 2 and not some other number. If it is a different number then change the query command below to match.
login user pass
use sid=1
servergroupaddclient sgid=2 cldbid={client databaseID}

Click on your nickname and out in the right hand side you should see your database ID. Use this number instead of 2 for your cldbid and you should be good to go!
