    You know it might not have to be a PM, you can post it here as attachment, and after problem solved, you can also delete your post/attachment(with such information). That way more people can look on your problem.

    As far as unwanted visitors are you will get much more with reporting to webserver list than posting your address somewhere. Not to mention that for any home users even their static IP can change over few years.

    In the end posting what was the solution in the end is also useful.

    @ZeroFighterR

    Have you tried using a port range i.e. 9986 - 9988 to cover port 9987?

    Well, first you must forward port 9987 UDP only
    This thread maybe is useful for you: http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...annot-connect)

    Well TS3 only needs the UDP Protocol for Voice, but it's not like having the both TCP & UDP forwarded would break anything per se. It's just an unnecessary Port which is being forwarded and as such is open. But since nothing is listening on that port no big deal.

    Hello.

    I also have a similar issue. I have had my TS server running great since 07/27/2011 ~ I've had over 60 people (not all at once) connect. The ports have all been forwarded (as addressed here: http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...not-connect%29 ).

    I have successfully updated my TS server, and all of my users have updated their clients.

    The Problem:
    A user who has been able to connect to my server with no problems in the past is now having issues connecting to my server. His error message is "failed to connect to the server". He is able to join other servers successfully.

    Thanks in advance for any help

    P.S. If additional information is needed, I will gladly provide what I can.

    What do you mean by 'put my external ip in addy'?

    Are people trying to connect to your Teamspeak server from your home network or the internet? If the latter, have you forwarded the correct ports on your router to the correct internal IP address?
