Global admins
Hello - please help me, I've got a problem...
Just reinstalled my whole instance and created 10 servers. Added me into the Admin Server Query group on one server. Now I'm Admin, but only on this single server! Problem is I think so that I got different client db id's. For some options I need to be admin on all servers (e.g. blocking to increase max clients) and I'm tired to do all that via a webinterface
Thanks in advance
Madmatthi
Edit: In the interface I'm on every server in the Admin Server Query group, but if I join the server, I'm not. If you like I can add a screenshotLast edited by Madmatthi; 19-07-2010 at 12:25.

This is normal. You have a different database id (cldbid) on each server. While connected to the server from the client it is using that cldbid to link to server groups. You would have to add your cldbid on each server to the query admin.
But I will say, I don't fully understand why the multiple entries for one client UID in the clients table, one for each server they've connected to. I think it would be much simpler to use the same cldbid for each server for a given client UID.Last edited by Screech; 19-07-2010 at 15:13.

But if I do it like you said, I would get the Database invalid constraint bug... right?

Not as long as every entry for the query group for each cldbid has the serverid = 0.

thanks a lot! i was just too afraid to add me multiple times, but it works as well. Thank you! but i still dont understand why i had the bug database invalid constraint, because i was on every server just one time in the admin server query group...
