    No output, mic works fine

I've tried to use ts3 (beta22 x86) for the first time today, it started fine, got through the wizard, etc. Messed with the sound options (using OSS, set to /dev/dsp). Mic works fine, but playback does not.
They're both set to the same device, ossmix shows that a channel is occupied
    Code:
    vmix0.pcm1 [<leftvol>:<rightvol>] (currently 25.0:25.0 dB) ("ts3client_linux")
While messing with the playback options
    Code:
    2010-07-29 21:02:57.426289|INFO |PlaySoundSet | | Invalid playbackDevice in Config File, (profile, playbackDevice) = (Default, /dev/dsp)
    shows up in the console.

Any ideas what should I do? Maybe there is something obvious I've missed?

(Console output shown while messing with ts3):
    Code:
    2010-07-29 21:02:32.833232|INFO |MPSingleton | | Detected local codeset to be: UTF-8

Although I don't know what all those lines of code mean, I have a similar/the same issue.

I am on Ubuntu, and I downloaded the Linux version of TS3. My microphone works fine: It works on my windows XP (same computer) and even on Ubuntu when I record sounds with Sound Recorder. My mic is built into my netbook. A person on the TS3 server I use said they could hear me, but it was extremely faint. So perhaps this is an issue of turning up my input volume in TS3?

    Any help is appreciated.

Just to make things clear: mic works in ts as it works fine in other apps, but i'm not hearing what others are saying on teamspeak.
