    Solved [solved] Why does server beta26 connect to teamspeak.4players.de?

    Hi,

    I just updated to beta26 (AFAIU that is the current beta, I don't quite understand why there isn't an announcement yet...) and now get the following lines in my log:
    Code:
    2010-08-02 11:55:36.997871|DEVELOP |              |   | TS3ANetwork::Send failed error: 111
    It has nothing to do with accounting, there is a firewall rule for that and the server connects to the accounting server just fine.

    In my firewall logs I found connections from the TS server to hardy.teamspeak.4players.de (109.235.254.114), that correspond with the entries in the TS log.

    Does anyone know why it is doing that? I don't like the idea of my teamspeak server sending data away, which isn't documented. Or has it something to do with the webserverlist mentioned in the changelog? (Couldn't find any information about that in the forums besides outdated ts2 stuff.)

    Ubuntu 10.04LTS x86, ts3 server beta26

    TIA,
    Jakob

    It connects to that DNS, to enable the new weblist feature.

    Thanks.
    Will there be some information about that feature with the official release of beta26? I didn't have a ts2 server in productive mode and am new to that feature. Can I deactivate it?

    To deactivate the weblist for an server :

    Code:
    login serveradmin <password>
    use <sid>
    serveredit virtualserver_weblist_enabled=0
