Can you allow us to specify a special icon to each channel, instead of having the same icon for all ?

It's better to allow us to change the icon on the left instead of adding special icons on the right.

These icons can be changed with icon packs, but you won't be able to set a special icon for every channel.

I am sorry for this, especially since you do not give any explaination.
People give you good ideas, and you just answer "We won't includ it".
Or you take it as a stupid idea, and you didn't understand, or you don't even give it a chance by ignoring the question.

Same icons on the left is totally useless, and it could be cool + usefull to have the ability to change them (each ones by a different).
Remember that customisation is the key (giving people the choice, over YOUR dev choice).
And please, don't be lazy by locking the topic as many devs do.

Remork, this has been requested before and denied before. You can set a channel icon per channel (in edit channel).

If you want to change the yellow icons, look in the skins and icon packs section of the forums. You CAN change these yellow and green channel icons, but it must be done client side.

Can you tell me how to change the icon, I see the "Icon" parameter in "Edit Channel", but I can't do anything (the stuff is not selectable).

You can´t do that Server Side via Settings.
You have to change the Icons for YOUR client and replace/edit the Icons in "your TS3 folder\gfx\default"

Create an icon pack and set your server up with a hostmessage with a link to download it. It's not difficult to customize things at all, its just that it is a client side customization so clients can tweak things to their own personal preferences instead of having it forced upon them by every server that they connect to.

Can your brain comprehend this?

The fact that :
- my server force them to have ugly default icons
- or special icons I decided

is the same : they are forced ! Even it is better that I choose the icons.
In the two exemple, they can decide to change, but in the 2nd exemple they perhaps don't feel the need to do it because I could had choose good icons to illustrate each channel speciality.

And how can I change the icon if I'm login as a server admin? I use a client but it doesn't work at all (can't change icons) !

if you add an icon to the channel it appears behind the channel name..

why not replacing the original channel icon
