[No bug?] Whisper List

Yesterday I added the new upgrade as directed. Previous to adding the new change, my whisper channels worked fine. Now that I have added the upgrade, I am unable to connect with any of the previous whisper/buddies nor can I add or change the whisper lists, etc. The "buddies" still show up in "green" when we are on T/S. Those who have not upgraded still have the ability to "whisper." Would like to continue the whisper list but have no idea how to reinstate.

I don't see any bug here.

The green marked users mean, you have them in your contacts.
With beta 23 the whisper list got an overhaul and you have to set a new list.
Your old hotkeys won't work too.

Please check these things.

Yes, they still show up in my contacts list, but whisper won't allow me to reassign hot buttons or use the old buttons. Am at a loss in knowing what to do.

Step-by-step reactivation instructions would be a big help!

Go to settings->Options. Activate the hotkeys pane. Now delete any entries with an empty whisper list name [Whisper List: (De)Activate "" for ....]. You should than be able to use your old Hotkeys with your new whisper list.
