[Suggestion] User to user file transfer

    Hello,
I really like the file upload/download feature. It would be perfect if you could drag a file onto a user and send it directly to him/her.

    Something like that:

    1. Drag any file onto a user.
    2. The file will be uploaded to your current channel.
    3. While the file is uploading, the other user will be prompted to download that file.
    4. If he accepts, he starts downloading while the file is still uploading.(simultaneous up/downloading works already)

It would be awesome if you could implement this.

(Another cool feature would be to send images from your clipboard like above to another user.)

Sorry for my english, I'm german.

    You didn't understand me.

I mean this: User -> Server -> User
Not this: User -> User (aka. P2P)

You can do this already (not private). Just upload to and download from channel (you can also start download while you are uploading).

Say, I want to show a Video to my friend. Then I have to say something like "Hey I'm uploading my Video to Channel X, get it by right clicking on that Channel and selecting the File Browser. It's named AnyVideo.mp4."

It would be much easier if I could "Send" or"Suggest" him the file. So that he will be prompted with something like "DarkFell wants to send you AnyVideo.mp4. Do you want to download it? [Yes] / [No]"

    Please understand me

    We understand you.

I think we can speak with teamspeak and say "I put this video in this channel".
    Or send a offline message.

It is not far from P2P, so as already answered here: No

He simply wants to right click on a users name and send a file ( Not the channel ) so that it is private.

I know what he want, but exactly this was rejected (at least for 3.0 final).

P2P filetransfer won't be builed in before and after final.
But you already can send him the file, while you upload it into the channel.
Refresh your filebrowser > drag the file into chat of user or channel

Ya you can download it, while he uploads it.
So your are finished with downloading, when he finished his upload.
