    Problem with connection

    Hello.

I have recently installed a TS3 server on my computer, but I am facing some problems.

Most of my friends can connect normally, but one of them can't, since yesterday. Yesterday he could (I also talked to him), today he can't. He also receives 100% packet loss upon ping to me.

Error: Failed to connect to server

I am using default port and for adress, I use no-ip DNS service (he can't connect with dns adress nor real IP).
    He is not on banlist.
I turned off firewall, result was the same.
None of us has a router.

    What could possibly be wrong?

    Problem 2.
Everytime I open Ts3 client it says that new version is avalible to download. But everytime I try to update it, it would do nothing for eternity and transfer is always 0kb.

Thank you in advance, your service is great

    Regards, klemen

    Hello

That seem a DNS problem. But not for your and your server, for your user.
Some time this problem appear in belgium network.

For your second problem, the problem servers update is known.
Try to download directly a new client. In "Download" page of this site.

Is it a DNS problem even if he can't connect by using my IP?

And, how can he fix it?

If it's as belgium problem you can't fix it.

Your IP changed regularly. Are your sure that you communicate the good IP ?

We're not from Belgium. We're both from Slovenia.

I have dynamic IP. Ofc, everytime he tried to connect I gave him current IP. When he was trying to connect through no-ip domain, it was also not a problem, because their DUC program updates the IP everytime.

I asked him to connect one more time this evening and he could. Maybe it was just a one-day-bug, but if it appears again, I'll post again here.
