Problem with license key?

Server works fine until I add license key file, after file is entered the server will start, but no connections are allowed. Server was just deleted and reinstalled today using the newest available download.

Anyone solved this yet?

If it helps, server wasn't restarted after old teamspeak was removed. Thinking about trying that next.

Hello

Have you stopped your server before add the licence file ?

Hi, looks like your system cannot bind the ports to Teamspeak because they are already in use.
Did you shut down the previous instance of the server before starting this one?

We closed it before adding the license, if that's what your asking

what is your start command line ?
Have set an ts3server.ini file ?

Just using the defaults, so no ini file made.
Start the sever with the standard executable in the folder.

We did the same with the older version, and it worked fine.

Followed the instructions
TS works fine and allows people to join, but still only get max 32 clients

have restarted pc running windows 7 32bit
have rolled windows back 5 days reinstalled and input the .dat file in again still only get max 32 slots

have tried using putty and deleting server and recreating server get the error client slots exceeded

spent 5 hours on this and still no luck

This was a linux forum!

Wehre did you place the license.dat? You have to put that file into the main folder of your server.

So 1st thing is that with licensekey file log is not complete and I think starting procedure just crash and server doesnt start at all even when status command says that "server is running"
2nd Without licensekey it work but with only 32slots

I will be glad for any help that you may offer thank you
PS: I did stop server b4 adding licensekey file

Your problem is probably related to the read-write permissions.
Make sure your licensefile has at least CHMOD 644

(this error has also been covered a few times already in other threads, your error is another one as the one in Sorris´s post)

I got the Lic. added it to the root file and it is stating that i have 512 on the server log, but the server still says 32 ?? is this right or is there something else i need to do??

Your log shows the server recognizes your license. Now you need to edit your server and change the max users You can go as high as 512.

No worries Go to TOOLS->EDIT VIRTUAL SERVER
