So less it matters what the server version is, but what will get you this error is if the server admin has set virtualserver_min_client_version. If you're the owner of this server, you can edit it with server query by sending serveredit virtualserver_min_client_version=12040. Note, that this command is asking only for the build number, that resides between the brackets.
If you are not the admin of this server, contact the person who is. My bet is that no one can connect to the server that you are connected to because perhaps, the admin set virtualserver_min_client_version to something greater than what is available, perhaps by mistake.

You're right, I didn't read it carefully enough. Thanks for making that clear.
Are you POSITIVE that your client is getting updated?
When is the last time you were able to connect to a server?
Is the message in the server tab, or is it a modal message (that was displayed with the beta21 release with codec/latency improvements).
When you update, be sure that TS3 client is not open so that it can overwrite the necessary files.

reply..
the situation is the following: i have recently got a really bad virus that f***ed up my pc and i had to restore it to get rid off the virus and use my pc as usual.
now that i have installed all the programs i used before, including ts3 i cant connect on any ts3 server,as ive already said. so yeah, the last time i could connect to a server was before i reset my computer. maybe i did something wrong when i reset my pc? ive installed all drivers i had before correctly, updated everything and so on.. i think all i can hope for is an update for the teamspeak client -.-
i really need teamspeak because im an active esl-player and if you donīt know,in every match theres a ts server that every player needs to connect to and use it as his communication tool to talk to his teammates. wow, long text.
EDIT:the error message is shown on the bottom of the window, where the chat usually is,the ip is shown,etc... and what do you mean with if im positive that my client is getting updated? its on the newest version,beta26.Last edited by dTh123; 03-09-2010 at 07:36. Reason: forgotten facts

Hello
Maybe the restore action had create a mistake.
- Save your identity and your bookmark
- Uninstall your client completly
-> By panel config
-> And the TS3Client folder in the "application and data folder"
- Download a fresh version and intall it.
If doesn't work can you show us your client log ?

What version is shown, when you open help > About TeamSpeak 3?
Maybe you just use the wrong shortcut for another installtion?

You probably have downloaded both 32 and 64 bit versions. Easiest way out would be to download both 32 and 64 bit, run both installers and start TeamSpeak again.
