upgrade 26~>27

I had a problem when I upgrade from beta26 to 27.

The server is linux x86

I downloaded the files on my PC (windows) and extract, I killed the server (kill #num), substitute the files and tried to start with the ./ts3server_startscript.sh start &

and say:

/teamspeak# ts3server.pid found, but no server running. Possibly your previously started server crashed
Please view the logfile for details.
WARNING ! For security reasons we advise: DO NOT RUN THE SERVER AS ROOT

For "Response from weblist" it's just an information (but just strange for the number 5 and 7)

Make sure that you have not teamspeak process before to start your server.
Write "top" for example and in the list search if you have this one.
If yes => kill -9 <procces ID>

In the first log you have a library error but not after. So I think you have updated you library.

Try to start your server like this :
./ts3server_minimal_runscript.sh

Hi, the log filenames are structured the following way :

ts3server_<Year>-<Month>-<Day>__<Hour>_<Minute>_<Second>.<Random number>.log

Therefore your last log is :
1 - ts3server_2010-09-04__16_53_59.731943.log
(You could have also gone by the modify date of the file)

Also, if you use ts3server_startscript.sh to start your server, also use this to stop the server (with the "stop" parameter) as it deletes the .pid file automatically.
If you kill your server you will have to delete the file yourself as this is used to determine whether the server is running and which pid it has.

From your logs I dont see any major problem.
Log 1 : your beta26 server has started and then shut down either by you or the system itself (maybe due to a ressource shortage?)
The shutdown happened 8-9 seconds after starting the server

Log 2 : also displays a correctly running Beta 26 server, the weblist debug output is characteristic for that server version

Log 3 : also a beta 26 server but probably you didnt set the proper rigths to the ***.so files
but since its an older log its not of any concern for this problem.

If you have copied all your files and have assured that all files have the right permissions (chmod) set you should be able to start your server and get a log file.

On a sidenote : I prefer either uploading the server tarball or downloading it directly on the server via wget and then unpacking it with tar -xvzf as this sets the correct rights for the files automatically
