TeamSpeak 3 Server 3.0.0-beta28 Available

I also experienced the server terminate itself with the critical ClientIDCache error.

At the time of the crash there were 2 clients connected, they were idling for hours. (They were my test clients, the server is still running privately, because we are in the process of setting up token automation etc.). In the logfile the last activity before the crash was 3 hours before the server crash at 18:51 (someone was disconnecting at 16:10)

I have no idea whether this problem is related to purely beta28. I have never experienced it before beta28, then again, I have very recently setup this server so I have hardly any uptime in previous beta versions to make a comparison.

I am running on Windows Server 2008 R2 64bit, amount of virtual servers: 1 (with a valid licensekey installed), 64bit version

Since the update I get "database empty result set" when I go to server groups

When I go to the "Ban List" I get invalid ClietID

Everything appears to work, any ideas.

It happened 3 times yesterday and once today. I don´t know how to reproduce this.

Tell me, if I downgrade again to version 27, will it be ok? Just use the old backup with the new database won´t corrupt anything? It is really becoming unbearable.

one tipp...

: save your ts3server.sqlitedb bevore you update your server and you will never have any problems to downgrade....

we are testing currently a fix for that issue on our test/public servers. if it works out we will deploy a new server pre release by tommorow.

I've taken the pre-beta 29 (Version: 3.0.0-beta29-pre [Build: 12327] on Windows) and installed it. Server is now up and running for about an hour, will post in here the results after a day or so.

Some additional info: Initially I suspected the error might have had something to do with manually inserting records in the sqlite database. Initially i was adding records to the db (not into clients table, but tokens and group_server_to_clients). So to be on the safe side I removed all code relating to making changes into the database, and now use serverquery instead to do it. But the latest 3 errors were after I switched to serverquery, so the error is not related to manually inserting records into the database.

this error had nothing todo with inserting records into the database, but it makes more sense to use the serverquery commands

Hello everyone,
I have problem updating teamspeak3-server_linux-amd64-3.0.0-beta23 to teamspeak3-server_linux-amd64-3.0.0-beta28. I am running debian server with kernel 2.6.29-2-amd64.
I've just copied the "files" folder, the database file "ts3server.sqlitedb" and the "licensekey.dat" from the old version folder to the new version folder.
I've restart the server. On first look everything looks ok. There was no errors in the log file.
