Get IP from guests?
So I had a spammer come onto my TS server and spam everyone on it. So I banned him. Which was fine.
However since he was then gone, I have no way to look up his IP address (that I can find). I'd like his IP for several reasons, one is that I turn in spammers when I can and two I might want to ban him from my website or something else and without an IP, I can't do it.

1) Check the server log.
2) Check the banlist.

Whant to stop that all together?
Its pretty simple, The DEVS had good intentions with this one but unfortunatly the web server list will bring in the crazies and those advertisers id like to shoot them all!
However there is a way to not be on the webserver list, In fact i am not on it and lamers cant brows my server in the list and target it at all. I know you want people to join but the web server list is not the way to do it heh. I cant remember the command for shutting off the web server list but im sure some one does and willl hopfully post it for this guy
There is also a thread for it thats how i learned the SEARCH COMMAND is your friend

IP Banning is a useless idea since anyone can easily get their IP changed. Then when someone else IP legitimately changes due to ISP action to the banned one they are screwed. Your better off removing yourself from the webserver list and setting up a screening method for newcommers
For example: The default channel disables talking for everyone. You must be elevated to the NORMAL usergroup to be able to join other channels where talking is allowed. Then all you have to do is decide how your gonna elevate peoples usergroup (bot, admins, etc)
