OK All The Help I CaN Get Plz Setting Up Sever

OK im new at all this but i would like to set up a sever but i dont have a clue how i downloaded the sever and the client. but i dont know how to set up a sever the only way it goes in for me when i try to connect is through my router IP but thats liek talkign to myself and noone can join on that IP so soemoen Plz help me??

must be new to to world of computers, welcome !
A first rule is to allways red the manual which comes with your Software. It doesn't took me more then 10 sec to find a page which describes what you have to do when using routers (NAT) => port forwarding !

By the way, the manual can as well be found in the FAQ, a good place to look too !
