avitar not working
I'm unable to set an avitar, yet I appear to have the same permissions as others who are able.
I guess I must have messed something up somewhere.
Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks for the reply.
There is no error message.
Server version:unknown, but it is hosted by
https://cp.light-speed.com/home.php
Client version: Qt: 4.6.2 (3.0.0-beta31 [build: 12451]
I have several avitars on my drive.
Do they have to be uploaded independently, or is that what is supposed to be happening when I select "Set Avitar"?

To know your server version, just left click on the server name (top of tree channel) and you have it in the right part information.
SomkinShark have right. You need to ask to your hoster, if he have blocked this option.

Thanks guys
here's the server info:
Version:
3.0.0-beta28 [Build: 12264] on Linux
Others are able to envoke avitar....so I'm thinking (always dangerous lol) that I must have messed up my settings somewhere.

If you server is an beta-29 version, uptdate your client to beta-31 version.
About the permissions, search "i_client_max_avatar_filesize" permission in your server, channel group. And, right click on you and select permission=> client permissions.
