Blocking TS Viewer/Avoiding ddos attacks/changing hostname/ip?
How can I block TS viewer and any other nano spies that can view our Teamspeak? or atleast not being able to see the names in our Teamspeak. Also, how can avoid DDOS attacks? Or do I have to change my hostname? If so, how can I do that? I tried looking through my hosting site for any settings for changing it. Much appreciated for any replies.

Remove the following permissions from the guest query server group.
b_virtualserver_servergroup_list
b_virtualserver_servergroup_permission_list
b_virtualserver_servergroup_client_list
b_virtualserver_channelgroup_list
b_virtualserver_channelgroup_permission_list
b_virtualserver_channelgroup_client_list
b_virtualserver_client_permission_list
b_virtualserver_channel_permission_list
b_virtualserver_channelclient_permission_list
OR
change your query port to something non-standard.

I've tried having it removed, however this time I tried something else - what if I check marked "negate" for each of those settings? Would that work?
@ Jordi - Can you show me step by step where I can access the blacklist/whitelist for "whitelist.txt" ? Or is this an actual file/text document?

Hello
FOr your good understanding about negated option read this :
TeamSpeak 3 Permissions Guide.txt
The query_ip_whitelist.txt and query_ip_blacklist.txt are in the server folder.
Just open it.
You can remove the TSviewer IP in whitelist if it's there and write the IP in blacklist.
These changes take effect about 5 minutes.

I highly doubt they will blacklist things like TS viewer since some clients might use it. He needs to do what I suggested higher up and remove those permissions from his guest group. He said he tried this but did he verify that it worked? TO do that you're going to have to add your server to Game Tracker or TS Viewer to verify that it can't see your server. I know for a fact removing these permissions works, specifically b_virtualserver_servergroup_list and b_virtualserver_servergroup_client_list

I think that your provider doesn't give the access to this groups.
