OSX Client constantly adding noise
Hi,
I'm using the OSX Client (V3.0.0-beta35, build 12724) with an Plantronics Headset (Plantronics® GameCom® 777, USB). OSX Version is 10.6.4.
After about 30 seconds of speaking noise is added to my speaking. I got this from others while being connected to a server and confirmed this using the local test speach feature. And the noise is constantly getting worse.
The exact same headset combined to a windows client work perfectly for quite some time now. Therefore I assume the problem is connected to the OSX Client.
Interestingly I found disabling the speach test for a couple of seconds seems to reset the noise - haven't tested this being connected to a server though.
Any ideas what might cause this or how to get it to work?
Tanks in advance.
Olaf
