Friends cant connect to my ts3 server!
Heyy! In about a hour ago i made a ts3 server... I watched the tutorial that you guys made and made everything step by step. When i was done with forwarding my ports and fixing everything i gave my IP to one of my friends and asked him to try to connect to the server.. When he connected it said Trying to connect to server on ********** Failed to connect to server. Anyone know why?

Are you working with the latest versions of Client and Server?
Is your server running?
Is there a firewall in your modem-router?
Can you connect it, by IP wan?

Using the ip/port 90.231.28.128:9987 I get a failed to connect as well. Are you 100% positive those are correct and that your ports have been forwarded to the correct IP on your network?

I still can't connect. You should be able to connect using localhost, 127.0.0.1, or your LAN IP address. Everyone else needs your WAN IP. This can be found by visiting sites like http://whatismyip.com
There really isn't much we can do for you. If you are positive you correctly forwarded the ports to the right LAN IP and you have no software firewall or anti-virus preventing connection I can't think of anything else except maybe your ISP blocking the port. Are you on a college campus? Some people have had problems on college networks.
