Multiple Channel Groups?
Does anyone know if it is possible to assign someone two channel groups concurrently in the same channel?
I'm asking because my guildmates and I use channel groups to label the end game classes in the games we play. For example, in Warhammer Online, I play a DoK and a Squig Herder end game. By using the channel groups for end game classes, when I'm in the Warhammer channel, I would have two icons corresponding to those two classes next to my name, but not when I leave the Warhammer channel. The problem is that currently, it appears that when I try to add myself to the second channel group, I am automatically removed from the first group.
Is there any way to make channel groups function more like server groups and allow concurrent multiple groups for one user in a given channel?
Thanks.

Not, you can use just a ChannelGroup for User and Channel.
But you can use many ServerGroups.

Multiple Concurrent Channel Groups
I would like to see the ability added for multiple concurrent channel groups to be placed on a client.
Using the example of Star Trek Online again, we find that clients can be both Vice-Admirals and M.A.C.O. members or Honor Guard members. So having these two bits of information show up only in their pertinent sub channel as apposed to making it a sever rank to get the concurrent status would be very helpful to me and I'm sure other people as well.

I don't like the idea but since I have no say in the ordeal I will just be quiet about it.

I think this feature is not really needed.
This is all possible with own server groups.---------------------------------------------------------

I understand that people can have multiple server roles, but in the case of people in gaming community that play more then one game, and have more then one role in each game and each channel this is where it comes in handy for us to be able to give permissions to that client based on their roles within the game. This allows for Vice Admirals to be recognized for their accomplishment, and then for the people who have herd the call to arms and then became M.A.C.O's given extra privileges. But that's only just one game, and on our server, that's just one channel with sub-channels. Other games have their own rank and structure, that we want to be effective only for that one area of influence within our community. I can't property do that with the current permission system, because I can only give out one channel group to a client. We use the channel groups as a status within the teamspeak server, people can have multiple status within one game, there for it only makes sense that is reflected in our teamspeak server channel groups for that client. Let the teamspeak software be flexable, so that anyone can build the community that they want within their teamspeak servers, not just what you had in mind at the time.
