TS RC2 not recording

I'm new to Teamspeak and I'm trying to get it to work. I figured the first thing I'd do was to just see if I could record with it and it doesn't appear to be doing so.

I can record and playback with my SB software just fine, so it's not a hardware or driver issue. It just doesn't seem to be recording any input from the mic when I use TS. I can tell because the level lines don't jump around when I do a playback with Windows Media Player.

I've tried tinkering with the various setting, including changing the codec to Celp Windows, DirectSound vs WAV, activate local test mode, etc. Still, nothing records with the system.

What am I doing wrong? Should I even bother trying to record, or should I just go straight to fistfighting with it to get it to work with an online server?

Are you using the PTT button, if you set one?
