Solved [solved] Voice activation lowers volume to about 25% temporarily.tem

So, I've had this problem for a while, Every time someone or myself talks teamspeak feels it's appropriate to lower all the sound on my computer except.. You guessed it! Teamspeak, I've re-installed teamspeak many times, Fiddled around with ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL the settings, and I'm getting a little bit pissed off now because nothing I do does anything.

I assume you are running Windows 7. Go to Control Panel, Hardware and Sound and click on SOUND. Now select the Communications tab.

My bet, you should (re-)Configure Settings->Plugins->Volume Control Plugin

(added the following to make forum search more effective )
    which has a description of:
"Reduce volume of other applications when someone is speaking in your channel. On systems other than Windows 7 or newer only Winamp's volume is affected."
Which means, with Windows 7 all applications are affected which is just like what you described. Additionally, it has configuration to reduce volume of other application when yourself are speaking.

    Thumbs up Thanks

Thank you, I guess I had not used all the tools within Teamspeak, I thank you so much, You have no idea how annoying that was to be playing a game all of a sudden, all the volume goes down and you can't hear anything for a couple seconds.
