Player Left/New Player

Hi all!

My clan recently switched from TS1.5 to TS2 and we are missing the "Player Left" and "New Player" notification sounds when a player enters/leaves a channel. ATM the sounds are only played, when the player enters/leaves the server.

Is this a bug or a missing feature? Or was it a bug in TS1.5?

I hope to see that feature coming back

Set the server to clan mode and you will hear it. In public it doesn't.

the server (v. 201940) is currently set to clan mode.

the player who switches hears the "switched channel" message but the other players don't get any notification that a player left or joined by switching to another channel. This is the same when being registered or unregistered.

I have the same question/problem as Cleeus.

When joining the server into "Imperators Channel" while the server is set in clan mode, I hear a "Member Joined" sound. However, if I leave "Imperators Channel" and enter "Default" channel, others in the "Imperators Channel" do not hear a message stating that I've left the channel. Likewise, when I rejoin "Imperators Channel", although I hear a "Switched Channel" sound, no one else in that channel hears a sound indicating that I've rejoined the channel.

It would be really nice to have that feature for channels and sub channels.

I'm running:
client version 2.0.29.47, XP Pro
server version 2.0.19.40, RH Linux 7.3
