teamspeak 3
I download teamspeak 3 client. After i is finished, I go to the terminal and type in "sudo aptitude install teamspeak-client." When I open teamspeak... It is teamspeak 2... Not 3, any help would be greatly appreciated.

This will install the TS2 client from the software repositories (online server), and not your downloaded file.
Maybe "sudo dpkg -i <your downloaded file>" works on Ubuntu too (if its a .deb file).
Edit: Like florian wrote, you can just double click the TS3 installation file (after you added execute permissions to it).

Hello
Because "aptitude" go to download the Teamspeak 2 package (There is no Teamspeak 3 package currently).
Right click on the run file and execute like "shell".
Follow the instruction.
