ts3client_win32.exe doesn't end on shutdown
Hi,
I apologize in advance if this has already been covered (and would appreciate being linked to a solution if there is one)
For some reason I seem to have a rather annoying problem, TS3 itself runs and operates as it should do but when I come to the end of a session and shutdown the program, ts3client_win32.exe refuses to end and the TeamSpeak 3 Client icon remains in my taskbar (its unclickable at this point with any mouse button i.e. non responsive).
The only way I can get the process to end is to Ctrl+Alt+Del and end the process manually, but even doing this can take a long, long time to end the process. Also this means that if I end a teamspeak session and go to shutdown my PC, it just hangs for ages until it can eventually terminate the process.
Does anybody know why it is doing this and how i can solve it?
I've tried re-downloading & re-installing (after removing all ts3 related files etc).
I'm currently using TeamSpeak3-Client-win32-3.0.0-beta36 on Windows XP Pro 32 bit
Thanks in advance.

I already had it unchecked, but, no way. After quitting TS3, the icon still appears on the tray, and the process TS3clien_win32.exe is still active in Windows Taskmanager, needind to kill it directly.

Thanks for answers.
My SO is Windows XP Pro 32bit like the first poster. I already run it as Administrator.
Version of TS3 is 3.0.0 beta36 build 12815. Qt version 4.6.2.
@Florian_FR40: your link is broken, sir.

Sorry, mate , but again the same message:
vBulletin Message
No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator
I made a Search with the words "available for testing" and got this post:
http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthrea...le-for-testing (Version RC1-pre5)
Is that what you meant?
I will give it a try.
EDIT: Funny: I change the update.ini file accordignly, and when the update starts, it says that "I can't start updating till ts3client_win32.exe shuts down" ! But this process don't shut himlself !
I have to kill it manually and then the update has started. I will report.
EDIT2: No way, the same problem

BUMP
Some updates of Beta versions later, and still the "Zombie ts3client_win32 process" problem exists. This process refuses to stop itself when I shut down TS3.

So, to be sure, uninstall your teamspeak client (don't forget to export your identity to keep your permissions Settings > Identities)
An try to install (or reinstall) VC Resist 2008 SP1 and .Net Framework 3.5 + SP1

Thank you for your answer. I did so, but no way. I did the following:
- Uninstalled TS3
- Uninstalled several versions of MS C++ Redistributable 2005 and 2008 I have found in Control Panel/Add-Remove Software
- Reboot
- Run CCleaner to clean Registry
- Reboot
- Install MS C++Redistributable 2010 (last version in MS website)
- Reinstall .NET Framework 3.5+SP1 (I already had it installed, along with NET 2.0 and NET 3.0)
- Reboot
- Reinstall TS3
And the same behaviour: ts3client_win 32 refuses to stop.
