Create group to allow voice activation on force push to talk server
Hello,
Our server requires that we force push to talk, we have it like that by default for a reason. The problem is I wish to may a group to allow *some* people to use voice activation. I tried creation a group called "Voice Activation" and enabling the "b_client_force_push_to_talk" permission and unchecked the box. However, the server configuration is overwriting this.
Is there any way to force push to talk unless permitted otherwise?
Thanks

Hello
In this special group just check the "Skip" for this b_client_force_push_to_talk (uncheck the value).

Thanks so much. I have another question though...
What we ended up going with making specific channels push-to-talk for what we do. My clan mate is wondering if he joins a channel with "force push to talk" enabled, if he can have his TS client automatically switch to using a hotkey. Is this possible?
If not, you guys should add another hotkey button in the Capture settings, under Voice Activation Detection, to the right of the "Test Voice" button. That could then allow Voice Activation to have a fall-back hotkey.

Okay, sorry, I will try to be more clear.
My friend likes using voice activation, but we have some channels in the server that are set with "b_client_force_push_to_talk" enabled. So when he goes into those channels, he would like it so he can use his hot key, even with voice activation enabled.
- In non-push to talk forced channel, use voice.
- In push to talk forced channel, use hotkey.
Without having to go into settings and change it, every time.
