Channel changes result in computer lock up
as the title states, why would this occur? this is not happening to me but to a friend who is trying to change channel in the server.
any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advanced

What is his client version ?
Does something in his client log (error or information message) ?
What is his operating system ?
