I just hopped onto these Betas.

How do I setup channel permissions on the new version. It is completely missing now?

Since we've seen this same question over and over again about the permissions, perhaps it would be best to pop up a one-time notice when the program is launched after upgrade telling the user about the change and how to enable the advanced permissions.

hey,
i tried to update my client today, it's impossible

i created the .ini file etc.

I started Teamspeak (via the runscript) clicked on help>check for updates
but nothing happens.

Then i tried to execute the update file
This Error appears:

TeamSpeak3-Client-linux_amd64/update: error while loading shared libraries: libQtNetwork.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

but in the Teamspeak Directory, there is "libQtNetwork.so.4!

how to solve the problem?

Ubuntu 10.10 x64

I already had this problem in beta 38.
When this will be fixed? because it terminates Teamspeak not be

Could you increase the volume of the soundpack? The new one is a bit lower but is on the same soundpack volume setting in options.
What has happened to App Scanner?
And for us veterans, will you be creating a soundpack that is like TeamSpeak 2? eg. Link Engaged, Link Disengaged.

We've tried to adjust the volume of the sound pack so it should be very sililar to the old one. But you're still able to change the volume of the soundpack manually (Settings -> Options -> Playback -> Sound Pack Volume).

The app scanner is a plugin now. You can enable and configure it from the plugins dialog (Settings -> Plugins).

We'll release a special suprise sound pack for all TeamSpeak veterans and gaming fans out there soon (maybe with RC1). In addition to the default stuff it will contain some additional files including "Link engaged".

This means, your dns server can't find the Ip address to for the server you are trying to conenct to. Use the server IP instead the DNS address.

This is normal behavior if you are currently trying to connect to a server and the name resolve is still running. It should terminate after at most a few minutes (depending on your operating system).

Hi,

today yet annother rc1-preX version of the client was released. As always looking forward to any criticism or feedback you have.

Important Changes:
- Multiple Sound Playback on DirectSound fixes
- Wave file playback should be tolerant with regards to different formats of wave files
- Easy permission dialogue tweaks
- Channel Edit/Create reworked
