    Anti-Spam for Poke

I think anti-flood measurements should be activated for poking.

Many users on my server complain about repeat poking.

    Is disabling poking an option?

There is a server group on our server that sets your needed poke power higher than most users have, so they cannot be poked. They can add themself, but have to have an admin take them out.

The poking option is fine, but some users just spam it and do it repeatedly.

Poking is Spamming too if this will be used to many.. (So, he/she get a Flood Ban).

Try to use a Mass-Poke (15+ at once) and you'll see what i mean.. ^^

    Agree with OP.
In my opinion, poking is more annoying than instant messaging. I propose to increase the points on poking so instead of kicking after 15 pokes at once, they should get kicked for poking 5 times in a rapid order or something like that, while the points for others remain unchanged. (For me, the annoying level is: Poking > Channel Switch > Instant Messaging > Server Login. Although I do understand why you add lots of points on server login.)

The spam filter get's an overhaul in the near futrue. It will block some actions, when the point limit has been reached. So nobody get's banned, for things, that cause no really server traffic and the spammer won't be able to go on with poke flood.
