License problem

Hi there.

I got my teamspeak server running now. I got a license key and I got the license file in my teamspeak map. I restarted the teamspeak but I still cannot change the slots.

I searched for a while on the internet but I still cannot find how to fix it, can anyone help me here?

Hi,
Make sure the user account on your machine is set up to have permission Read and Write. (So if your user is called "teamspeak" then the u-ownership of the file should be "teamspeak" and the last 3 octant of licensekey.dat should not mask 600 (i.e. should have at least flag -rw-------)). Su (Switch User) to your teamspeak account and run minimal_runscript shell script, and see whether there's error messages.

(P.S.: It is not recommended to run TS3 Server with root account.)

go to http://www.portforward.com/ and find your router (press skip in the top right for the advertisement) then click on Teamspeak 3. Follow this procedure but use the port number 2008.
