A problem whit needed move rights... pls advice
Hi guys,
something strange happen on my teamspeak server. I have admins on teamspeak whit move rights on the server. But i dont want that they can move their own to another channel. Well normaly there are 2 things that i must setup.
1. move power (for example number 70) on his servergroup: co admin
2. needed move power (for example number 75) on his servergroup: co admin
So if i setup like what i said above here... Well he still can move himself to another channel is that not weird? :/ i want that he can move others but not like holding his name and drop himself in a other channel. normaly it's works for many months allready maybe this problem is effected on the new update. Is there maybe a new permission that i have to add for prevent this action of moving their own... because the setup whit needed move power and move power does'n work verry well at the moment.
Kind regards
Barrybe

The move power doesn't control if he can move his own client just other clients. You would have to restrict this movement using join powers. I can drag and drop myself into any channel I have access to regardless of my move power.
Maybe give an example of exactly what you are trying to do?

well what you saying is not right...
If you use needed move and move powers for example you have 2 teams
Team 1 = admins ---> move power = 20 / needed move = 75
Team 2 = friends --> needed move = 20
well whit this setup normaly team 1 cannot move himself to any channel but can move the friends arround the server thats the thing i get working for many months but now there is something wrong they still can move them selfs to any channel whit this setup. so i think whit the new update something change or what...
And the server admin has an needed move power of 75 and he cant move me because its says not enough client permission error, so that's correct but why it does n work... you say that permission is not preventing this. then explain why before the update works well and now not... pff

Why should an user not be able to move himself?
There is not much difference between switching to channel and moving to it.

To my knowledge the move permissions have never permitted/denied a client from moving himself anywhere in teamspeak. This was always controlled with join power and/or a password on the channel.
