Backup the entire server directory prior to updating and then do the update and you should be fine.

Edit Virtual Server -> Misc and check the Option "Enable reporting to server list" then your server should be listed again

I have one small request and some praise.
Request: Can we include the build numbers in the release notes and/or the thread title when a new server/client is released and announced on the forums? It would help tremendously.
Praise: I love what you guys have done. You took everything that was good about TS2 and made it better. Then you came up with innovations to the server AND client that just continually blow me away. They also very much impress new TS3 users.
Thanks for the hard work, guys. I think I speak for everyone in the TS community when I say that the hard work is appreciated.

Hi TS Team,
I have a few questions with upgrading servers. We use SQLite.
How does this impact me - do I need to do anything?! i_group_auto_update_type values changed
What action, if any, do I need to take here?* renamed i_client_modify_power > i_client_permission_modify_power
i_client_needed_modify_power > i_client_needed_permission_modify_power
i_client_max_clones > i_client_max_clones_uid
....
+ added permissions i_channel_delete_power, i_channel_needed_delete_power
i_channel_permission_modify_power, i_channel_needed_permission_modify_power
+ added permission i_group_auto_update_max_value
+ added permissions i_client_needed_whisper_power and i_client_whisper_power
that determine who can whisper to whom
....
etc...
1) I assume the server knows how to update its own SQLite database
2) Do I need to insert/add/set any new permissions for existing people using their server? IE, after an update, are people going to be complaining they can't whisper or do things they could before because of new permissions, with I assume unset values?
Thanks

The server will update these permissions automatically, as long i_group_auto_update_type is set for your server groups.

Please don't send me private support questions.

Same here.
When I first read about their idea, I thought "yay, someone's following XMPP/Jabber's excellent example" and then... I found out it's a separate daemon. :\
SRV records with support for redirects (i.e. domain1's SRV record pointing to TS server at somewhere else than *that* domain's A record) would be awesome, because it would allow people to have "ts.someclan.net" point to some server hoster's TS server, transparently.
I guess it'd be kind of a turn-off for hosters who would use TSDNS (as it is now) as an advertising platform because all servers are hosts under their hosting domain...
Anyway, SRV records (additionally to, if not instead of, TSDNS) would be awesome.

Until (or if not) the WebAdmin interface is released, you can use this one: http://addons.teamspeak.com/director...chokiller.html

After that server is running without any problems. Is there something I should do ?
In client I'm getting folllowing error:
2011-06-25 15:15:24 Query Error 127.0.0.1:25639 unable to bind error: 10013:An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions

Don't know what to do with it since I didn't set that port anywhere.
Thanks for help.
Edit by mod
This message appears, when a second will be started.
The second client trys to conenct to the same port, that is in use from client already.Last edited by dante696; 06-07-2011 at 08:06.
