Licensekey.dat problems

I realize this has been posted over and over. However despite that i cannot get it to work. Which is bewildering since it seems all the documentation says just go ahead and drop it in the root teamspeak folder and it simply works.

The licensekey.dat is in the root folder the teamspeak ts3server_startscript.sh

I added inifile=ts3server.ini into the startscript.sh as passed commands

The licensekey.dat is set to 755

I dont understand why it is not working.
